After arriving home at close to midnight last week after an arduous day of parliament, I was ready to collapse – until I saw that my copy of Vogue had arrived. Ordinarily I would have been able to resist this long enough to actually go to sleep as I should have done, but with Ms Moss on the cover dripping in Prada crystals, this was not going to happen.* It’s Moss’s 29th for Vogue, and still noone can work a cover like her.
As naughty as it is, I always judge volumes by their cover, and I’ve never been proven wrong yet. In fact, this is my favourite issue for as long as I can remember – it’s bursting with Spring prettiness and I loved every single shoot. I’m as bad with magazines as I am with books – always reading about 10 at ones and have to start the new one as soon as I get it. I’m also still getting through last weekend’s Sunday Times Style supplement (with Abby Lee Kershaw on the cover, dressed in McQueen) – I love that it’s the size and weight of my coffee table.
Which magazine or cover model are you incapable of resisting?
On a side note, I apologise for the lack of posts the past week – it is not for an absence of inspiration or love for my readers (all 2 of you…), but rather due to the absurdly hectic few days I’ve been having! I’m jetting to Marrakech this week, but promise to make it up to you next week!
Love, Miss B xx
* I have a long-standing girl crush on Moss. Though I don’t particularly endorse her lifestyle, the woman always looks ridiculously cool.
