It’s surely the influence of Spring, but suddenly I want to adorn myself with pretty basics in blush pink, ruffles, and lace. In the same way that I would take to all my homework with pinking shears as a child to make it more aesthetically pleasing, scalloped edges have a similarly sweet effect on clothes. Lookout for scalloped camisoles, blazers, underwear and shoes – and keep the rest fairly simple (to avoid looking like a stick of candy floss).
I’d wear these shorts loose and teamed with a tan, a plain slouchy tank top, sandals, pink cheeks and messy waves in my hair.

* On a side note, if you’re in London on Thursday 29th April, there is a 20% off shopping evening happening in Seven Dials, Covent Garden from 5-9pm. Given this is one of my favourite places to shop (i’m there on at least a fortnightly basis), i’m sure i’ll come home laden with goodies from Tatty Devine, Mimco, MAC and Coco De Mer. Visit Seven Dials for more details.

I adore the soft rose colour of those shorts. Perfect with a great leather sandal in my opinion!
