Lately I’ve had a thing for art and illustration that is beautiful, quirky and almost childlike in its simplicity. In my continual hunt for gorgeous new things to make me smile, I stumbled across the work of Carine Brancowitz.
I love that she draws ordinary people in their surroundings and everyday objects and turns them into beautiful art. And not only is she gorgeous and French, but she is also married to Branco from Phoenix (bottom image), who just happen to be my favourite band.
Have you stumbled upon any unique artists or treasures lately? I’d love to hear about them.
Love, Miss B xx

Miss B!
You are actually beginning to scare me a little…
I discovered Carine Brancowitz’s work last weekend and saved some of her art onto my laptop with the fancy of celebrating her talent on my blog – once I overcome my laziness and commence posting again!
I have just shown this to my boyfriend and he has but one word for us: “Spooky!”
I couldn’t have said it better myself, x

We are getting too weird!! We probably cross paths on our way to work every morning wearing the same outfit too!
How was Liberty btw? I was planning on going last night for the beauty events and sale preview but was so exhausted I ended up watching Valentines Day on the couch with the boy instead. I’m so rock and roll.
Email me and we can arrange a little blog-research date.

They are really gorgeous! I especially like the Diptyque bottles (since if I look to the left I can see mine too 🙂 ).

I know about Stefan Sagmeister. I love his flower which has written on it: always. The flower is fresh in a first pic and faded on second picture. I just love how he is trying to say that nothing is forever through symbol of dying flower. If you want to I can send you a picture.
