I’ve already spoken here about how wonderful Wilderness Festival was last weekend, but because it was so hard to capture its beauty in a single post, I thuoght it warranted a second.
On Saturday afternoon, my friend Dearne and I took off for a few hours of splashing in the lake, attending discussions on happiness, lying in the long grass reading Shakespeare (the weekend felt so like my favourite Shakespearean play, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, that I couldn’t help but read through it when I came across a copy in the Canopy and Stars tent) and basking in the glorious golden sunshine. (In fact, we were in such a good mood that it only took us about two miuntes flat to capture these photos.)
When the sun set, we changed our Bella and Fifi flower crowns for their spectacular floral masks (I was a cat, Dearne a butterfly), followed the trail of fairylights which had been strung in the trees overhead, past the sounds of a jazz band floating on the breeze, and went deep inside the woods. There, surrounded by party-goers in masks of every kind (though all were as wonderful as the last), we danced the night away at the midnight masquerade ball. If there ever was a fictional scene involving a magical midnight party, then this would have been its real life manifestation.
Wearing: Mulberry dress (first posted here) and Tillie bag, Sportsgirl sandals (old), Jersey Pearl necklace, Michael Kors watch (similar style here), Mimco cuff, Bella and Fifi flower crown and cat mask.
Love, Miss B xx

Hi, can you tell me what lipstick you are wearing? I have been looking for that exact colour for what feels like years!!
