Recent Treasures

I don’t know about you, but I am oh so ready for Spring! I have officially boycotted my wintery coat, gloves, and wooly accoutrements, and have sugary pastels and bicycle rides in the sun on the brain.

In that vein, here are a few of the treasures I’ve collected of late to helpusher in the new season; the most adorable crystal and perspex Miu Miu bow earrings (a present from the Clever Boyfriend), the perfect petal pink Chanel nail polish in May (which also happens to be my middle name and my favourite Spring month), a silver Cambridge Satchel Co bag (which I’ve been wearing as a clutch bag to take me effortlessly from winter into spring on the accessories front, the most darling toadstool-printed silk scarf from my friend Aimee Morakot’s adorable Mushroomee line, a tiny diamond heart necklace from Anjolee and candles that make my house smell like English rhubarb when I come home each evening.

Are the seasons beginning to turn where you are? How do you mark the change?

Love, Miss B xx

  1. oh, i love those earrings!! yes! cant wait for spring neither.. the only thing I left in my closet is my trench coat.. that I think I will wear in spring’s evenings!

  2. Thank God the seasons are beginning to turn here. One more overcast, drizzling, Sara Lee layer up on layer up on layer day and I would have been on the first plan back to Sydney! Daylight is arriving, the scarf can be left in the drawer. Just. In. Time.

  3. Oh B, you always collect the most gorgeous little treasures, and shoot them accordingly. And oh, how I love Spring in London. I really miss it, but I’m loving the late flowering frangipanis (still falling in the front yard) and the camellia petals strewn across the back yard. Unfortunately, no conkers. xx

  4. I am in love with all your treasures! I googled Aimee and all the links were for a Thai beauty queen;-) Where can you buy your friend’s scarves?

  5. lovely stuff indeed. I have been painting may nails with the May and June chanel polish as a way of embracing spring.

  6. Hi – I’ve just come across your blog and absolutely love it – I’ve been working my way through all your old posts (whilst pretending to be very busy at work of course). You say you interned at capitol hill…you’re not one of Eric’s are you? I did an internship there in 04!

  7. I love all your Spring treasures. Those earrings are adorable! And I wish I could smell the candle…. must be divine. The seasons are changing for me too. Spring is here in New England. All the trees are budding and tulips & daffodills are everywhere. I love seeing all the color after a cold winter. I need lots of flowers in the house and yesterday I made carrot cake muffins. That’s how I celebrate Spring : )

  8. This is so stinking pretty. It has definitely moved to spring in Zurich… it’s kind of bizarre, we went from -15 to +22 really quickly. It’s so beautiful here – you can shorts/sandals during the day! It’s the clear skies everyday that really make it feel like spring to me though… I just love having the warm sun on my face.

Anyway, love these photos. The earrings are so lovely and the single ‘B’ on the satchel is BEYOND PERFECT. Really sweet. xx

  9. I’m so happy spring is here! I’ve been enjoying wearing pink nail polish recently – Chanel May and now Revlon Sparkling. Your Miu Miu earrings are so pretty.

  10. Dear Miss B, I LOOOVE your blog so much! With your sweet closet you’re a beautiful inspiration for all the romantic girls. Please, never stop!

  12. Love the scarf by Aimee, can’t find it on line. Is is available? Also, love the pink and those precious earrings. Here in the states we have been experiencing a warmer winter than usual and now is the perfect time for us to be wearing pink, those earrings and that scarf, if I can find it…..love your site!

  13. The toadstool-printed scarf is too beautiful! Reminds us of Cicely Mary Barker illustrations and other childhood-related loveliness :)

P.S. The pearlies make an awfully perfect pair with the Miu Miu bows. ♥ it! xx
