Hello! I’m fresh off the plane and back from a wonderful trip to New York. As I’m still under the spell of jetlag, I thought I would simply leave you with favourite my new glittery Miu Miu booties (which need few words).
It doesn’t really matter what else I packed in my bag when I had these. For when I slip these on, I feel like a modern-day Dorothy (I was practically glued to the Wizard of Oz as a child), and just looking at my feet makes me smile.
What do you own that makes you smile every time you slip it on?

Strangely enough the thing that makes me smile is also a pair of sparkly shoes – my Kurt Geiger sequinned ‘Dolly’ shoes to be exact. I adore them!

Those Miu Miu’s are super gorgeous! Have you tried wearing Chanel’s Graphite with them?!
I’m in LOVE with the Dior Caprice perforated ballerinas right now! They’re certainly not as exciting as the Miu Miu’s but they’re so gorgeous! I tried them on at the Dior store in Westfield a couple of months ago and they look even more beautiful in person and are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever put my feet in! I went back to the Dior store a month later hoping to get them and they were gone! I didn’t even what they were called and for some so it took me forever to track them down online but I finally discovered them in Bergdorf Goodman’s website! I think if I had these in my life I would smile even when I didn’t have them on!
As I like to think I may be a little responsible for the glittery Miu Mius, I’m really happy to see wearing them makes you feel good!
I never did drugs, but I think there’s clothes and accessories (shoes in particular) that can give you a similar “high” feeling every time you wear them (in a much healthier if not cheaper way!). Personally, I especially get that when I slip my Miu Miu swallow/daisies print shoes on (the ones in my profile pic). Nobody knows how to make a girl “high” on fashion better than Miuccia!

I have a beautiful Max Mara blue bubble dress with a big bow on the front that makes me feel the same way. Love the booties–what will you wear them with?
Any dress with a big bow sounds alright to me! And I’ll mostly wear them with otherwise understated outfits – black trousers roller at the ankles and a tee on top, a black skirt with spotty tights… that sort of thing.

Ah, those are glamorous. I saw them everywhere at the Paris Fashion Week – they have become so trendy over such a short period of time.
