Playing tourist in on the pastel streets in New Orleans. Flying back to New York and seeing an autumnal East Coast stretched out beneath me. Strolling the leafy streets of the Upper East Side. Afternoon walks in Central Park. Roasted chestnuts and rowing on the lake. Dreaming of a townhouse near the Park. Rainbows of roses on every corner. Pretending to be Eloise at the Plaza Hotel. Rainy days at the Met with Monet, Van Gough and Renoir. Dessert dates with new friends at Sant Ambroeus. Hanging with Katie Armour (the ultimate Matchbook girl) and Alfred the Pug in her UES apartment. Shopping on Madison Avenue (and buying half of J. Crew and Kate Spade). Brunch at Maison Kayser with Carly and Mackenzie.

Weekend treasure-hunting at the Brooklyn Flea Market with my BFF Nicolette. Sunday Lunch at the Wythe Hotel and lanes at Brooklyn Bowl. East River ferry rides. S’mores, grilled cheese and spiced chai at Smorgasburg. Autumnal walks around Nicolette’s beautiful Williamsburg neighbourhood. Rides on the carousel at Dumbo. Hot apple cider. Walking the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset. Chinatown dim sum and karaoke. Ice Skating at the Rockefeller Centre. Passing through Grand Central. Girl talk with Grace and Katie. A trip to the Coach archives and lunch with Keiko and Eliot at Rosemary’s. Shake Shack beneath the twinkling lights of Madison Garden. The Flatiron Building and all of New York’s beautiful architechture. The city all dressed up for the holidays. Teary farewells.

Back to England. Cosy weekends with my family in London. Longs walks through Chiswick Park. Jumping in autumn leaves. Pit stops at the Chanel beauty boutique in Covent Garden. Patent Miu Miu flats perfect for the office and brunch and walks in the park and everything in between. Burning this Diptyque Noisetier (hazlenut tree) candle every evening. Wearing vintage jewels from New Orleans. Talking about Christmas in the December issue of Red Magazine. Glittery nail polish. Hot chocolate at charming Cambridge cafes. Afternoons at the V&A. Buying myself big bunches of roses at the end of a long week. Feeling festive.
